Galleria Dallas Unveils the Sixth Year of SNOWDAY, Bringing Holiday Magic Starting Nov. 22

Wednesday, October 23, 2024

Galleria Dallas is gearing up for the holiday season with the return of SNOWDAY, the much-loved interactive photo experience, starting Friday, Nov. 22. Now in its sixth year, this hour-long immersive event has become a staple for Dallasites, offering hundreds of festive photo opportunities that capture the magic of the season. Just in time for Christmas, guests can enjoy a journey through this winter wonderland, while SANTALAND returns to offer an exclusive chance to meet Santa Claus himself before he sets off on his annual North Pole adventures.

Recognized by USA Today’s 10Best as one of the top December activities in Dallas, SNOWDAY continues to elevate its offerings each year. This season brings a spectacular new light and sound show, dazzling visitors several times per hour and culminating in a snow-filled finale. Guests will also be enchanted by SNOWDAY’s signature Christmas light maze, now even more magical with its shimmering display of twinkling lights, alongside a miniature version of Galleria Dallas’ famous ice skating rink.

This year’s SNOWDAY introduces even more fun for visitors, including an out-of-this-world Christmas Kaleidoscope photo and video opportunity. Inside the Tipsy Elf Tavern, new merchandise and holiday snacks are available, giving guests more reasons to celebrate. As always, participants can share their experiences instantly on social media or opt for printed keepsakes of their holiday memories. What’s new this year is an exclusive AI image processing feature that allows for surreal, holiday-themed snapshots—perfect for capturing the essence of the season in a unique way.

With its vibrant, immersive experiences and holiday cheer, SNOWDAY at Galleria Dallas promises to be a must-visit destination this season, spreading joy and wonder to all who attend.

“We’re incredibly excited for another year of Santaland and SNOWDAY which has become such a tradition with DFW families over the years, and we’re honored to continue it once again in 2024,” said Scot Redman, SNOWDAY team member. “Kids from one to 92 will have fun delighting and celebrating the magic that is Christmas.”

SNOWDAY is set to run from Nov. 22 through Jan. 5, with the exception of Thanksgiving and Christmas, offering plenty of time for visitors to enjoy the festive fun. Meanwhile, SANTALAND will be open through Christmas Eve, providing an opportunity to meet Santa Claus before his big night. Both attractions will be located in the same spot on the first floor of Galleria Dallas, right next to Banana Republic.

For pet lovers, every Wednesday will feature a special pet-friendly night, allowing furry friends to join in on the holiday fun. Additionally, the first three Thursdays of this year’s SNOWDAY will offer a unique experience with a Spanish-speaking Santa Claus.

Tickets for SANTALAND start at $9.99, while SNOWDAY tickets begin at $19.99. Combo tickets are available with a 15% discount, and visitors can also enjoy discounted tickets on Mondays and Tuesdays, making it easier than ever to experience both events at a great value.
